| Description of the seal image | The scene is framed by line borders at the top and bottom. Ninurta (archer), depicted in a wide stance, wearing a long, belted robe decorated with a not or crosshatch pattern between the legs, aims his bow at the rampant Anzu (lion-griffin). He is further armed with a sword at his waist and has two globe-tipped bows on his back. In front of Ninurta, the Sibitti (Pleiades) appear above a rhomb while, behind him, an eight-rayed star is above a fish. |
