Kategória Cylinder Seals
Description of the seal image A bearded hero grasps a human-headed lion (sphinx) on either side, each by a foreleg. He wears a round headdress and a long, broad-belted, tiered and fringed open robe over a short tunic. On either side of his legs are a wild goat (ibex) with bunched legs and a bird, respectively. Behind the hybrid creatures is a stylised tree with globe-tipped branches, next to which is the stylus of Nabu. A crescent moon and a seven-rayed, globe-centred star appear above the sphinxes.
