| Description of the seal image | The scene is framed by line borders at the top and bottom. A half-kneeling hero grasps an ostrich by the neck with one hand and holds a sickle sword (scimitar) with the other. He wears a quadruple-belted, fringed tunic, the upper part of which is decorated with a net or crosshatch pattern. He is equipped with a tasselled quiver on his back, and a sword at his waist. Above the ostrich is a crescent moon, while behind the two figures is an eight-rayed star above an ear of wheat ('bottle-brush' tree). |
