| Description of the seal image | The scene is framed by line borders at the top and bottom. A four-winged hero grasps a half-kneeling griffin while two half-kneeling mouflons facing each other. Between the latter is an ear of wheat ('bottle-brush' tree). A crescent moon appears above the griffin, and there is a double wedge above the left-facing mouflon. An eight-rayed, globe-centred star and the Sibitti (Pleiades) are behind the winged hero and the griffin. |
