Hero (spearman) fighting lion-griffin

Description of the seal image A bearded hero (spearman) wearing a double-belted tunic or kilt aims his spear at a rampant lion-griffin. In his left hand, he holds a spiked shield. His dress is decorated with a pattern of rectangles. Between the two figures is a six-rayed star at knee height, while a crescent moon appears above the head of the hybrid creature.
