| Description of the seal image | The scene is framed by chevron borders running in opposite directions at the top and bottom. A king or dignitary stands between two beardless attendants. Both attendants wear long, broad-belted, fringed robes, have towels thrown over their shoulders, and hold fans and pieces of cloth. The king wears similar clothing, has a sword at his waist and a tassel hanging from his hair, and holds a cup and a bow. All three figures wear swords at their waists. Behind the king, the attendant has a quiver full of arrows over his shoulder. The attendant Between the king and the attendant facing him is a vessel on a stand (pot-stand). A crescent moon appears above the cup. Seven globes, representing the Sibitt (Pleiades), as well as six single and one double wedge, appear scattered around the image field. |
