Royal hero (archer) hunting lion and boar with dog (hound)

Description of the seal image The royal hero (archer), wearing a crenellated crown (cidaris) and Persian clothing (court robe), aims his bow at a jumping lioness while his hunting dog (hound) attacks a boar. The archer has a tasselled quiver on his back and holds an extra arrow in his left hand. The lioness already has two arrows sticking out of its head.
