Description of the seal image The royal hero grasps a lion by its hind leg and holds a sickle sword (scimitar) in the other. He wears a dentate crown (cidaris) and Persian clothing (court robe). Above them is a crescent moon. Next to the fighting figures, Ahura Mazda emerges from a four-winged sun-disc above a large, eight-spoked wheel.
