Description of the seal image The royal hero grasps a rampant lion by the foreleg with one hand and holds a dagger in the other while stepping onto a leaping wild goat (ibex) or gazelle (antelope). He wears a dentate crown (cidaris) and Persian clothing (court robe). Above the royal hero's left arm is a crescent moon.
