Description of the seal image The royal hero grasps a rampant lion-griffin on either side, each by the throat. He wears a dentate crown (cidaris) and Persian clothing (court robe). Behind the hybrid creatures are four superimposed hieroglyphic signs, including a bird (possibly a crane) and an eye.
