| Description of the seal image | The scene is framed by line borders at the top and bottom. The figures in this scene are separated by a floral pattern made of double strands and globes or lotuses in the joints, essentially creating three registers and nine cells. In the upper register are w winged sun-disc in one 'cell', followed by a bird(?), a six-rayed-globe-centred star, a crescent moon, and three wedges. The last cell shows a horse, above which is another crescent moon. In the middle section there are three cells. In the first one is a half-kneelig spearman resting his spear on his knee. The middle cell depicts a reclining lion-griffin and a crescent moon above. In the last cell is a standing figure wearing a long robe with a fringed lower edge, holding an axe and an undetermined object. Behind him are globes, possibly indicating the Sibitti (Pleiades). The three cells in the lower register include a reclining male lion, a reclining lioness, and a reclining wild goat (ibex), respectively. The stamp image shows a winged sun-disc with streamers. One of those streamers is seemingly held by an undetermined figure, while next to the other one is a double-headed axe. |
